The Leif Hasle room

The Leif Hasle room contains everything you need for a writing retreat. It is named after Leif Hasle and, like the rest of the residency, is furnished with pieces from his large collection of antiques. There is a good workspace, and wherever you sit, you will always have a view of the beautiful garden.

The room is furnished with a 120 cm wide bed with duvets, pillows, bedspread, and a wool blanket. Please bring your own bed linen.

Additionally, there is an extra chair, table, clothes rack, dresser, and mirror. The room is heated by warmth from a heat pump

How do I apply?

To apply for a stay at the residency, you must submit an application. Your application should include a short explanation (max. 10 lines) and details about which room you prefer and the desired week(s) of your stay (please list several options).

Note: A stay can last between 1 and 4 weeks. The cost is DKK 1,000 per week for Leif Hasle’s and Gyllembourg’s rooms, while the larger Proust room costs DKK 1,500 per week. Young people under 30 and students receive a 50% discount. The rent includes water, heating, electricity, and internet. A printer is available in the refuge for a small user fee.

Children are welcome in the month of July. Overnight guests must be coordinated with the foundation or hosts via email.

As a guest, you must provide your own food, bring your own bed linen and towels, and clean the room and common areas before departure.

Stay at the residency runs from Sunday to Sunday:

Check out: Sunday at 10.00 – or by appointment.
